Friends of Lois
Friends of Lois is an Al-Anon support group for family and friends of alcoholics, addicts and adult children of alcoholics. We believe alcoholism is a family illness. Living with an alcoholic is too much for most of us. Al-Anon has helped many of us find solutions that lead to serenity. So much depends on our own attitudes. As we learn to place our problem in its true perspective, we find it loses it power to dominate our thoughts and our lives.
Anonymity is an important principle of the Al-Anon program. Everything that is said in our group meetings is to be held in confidence.
Friends of Lois Al-Anon group meets every Friday morning at 10:00 am in the Ivy Room of the Lake House. We encourage you to try our group.
