Radio Controlled Cars - Interest Group
Welcome! Novice and experienced RC Car hobbyists and drivers. The Sun City Carolina Lakes Radio Controlled Cars Interest Group was formed in 2020 to promote the hobby of Radio Controlled Cars, and to enjoy the companionship of others in the community who have an interest in this hobby. The Group promotes the fun of learning the knowledge and skill necessary to control and maintain a radio controlled car along with some enjoyable and friendly racing competition.
No prior experience? No problem!
Learning the basics will only take an hour or so. With a loaner car, a mentor, and couple of days of practicing the simple skills needed you will begin driving like a pro.
When and where does our Interest Group meet?
On Thursday and Sundays (weather permitting) we meet from 1:00pm until about 3:pm in the Lodge parking lot North end. This is where we drive our cars.
