Modifications, Compliance, Design Guidelines

DO NOT IGNORE A VIOLATIONS LETTER.  You will be fined, and fines are difficult to reverse.

  • If a homeowner has previously made a modification without obtaining approval, a request for approval should be submitted immediately. Application instructions on Modifications Committee web site.
  • Residents should not be alarmed by inspections, even if a violation is found. Many of the violations are of a technical nature and are easily fixed with paperwork.
  • Don't panic if notice of compliance violation received. Read the "Curing the Violation" section of the letter closely and proceed as stated. Do not ignore it, as this will make resolution more difficult.

Modification Request for Compliance Letters

Review the Design Guidelines to determine what you can do and the rules to follow.  Your review will also tell you if your change is a Fast Track Item or requires a full Modification review.

Fast Track items are relatively straight forward, easily understandable changes.  Fill out the form and provide it to the Lodge front desk or drop box.  You will be notified by mail of the result of your review usually within a week of submission.

If your change does require a full review by the committee, obtain a Modification Review Request form parts 1 and 2 from the Modifications Committee Library.
